DREDGING


Dredging or Highbanking need not to be a backbreaking sport, One can get
light equipment of only a few lbs for a quick outing, or to pack to the
deep out back. The sluices on the left weigh only a few lbs, one can
get a powerful, light, two stroke engine. Hoses can be had at any
weight. And I make & sale a PVC dredge pump 1” or 1 ½” that is
designed to pick up a suction wherever; out of the water or
in the water: as long as the end of the suction hose is in
the water. This makes it very useful for high banking,
small streams, & Crevasse.
WE are replacing this, heady, awkward, unadjustable Jet pump FIGURE 1 with:
The other Jet pump which is lighter in weight & will pick up a suction when not under water.
ALSO is easy to run a hose extension in front of pump for a more flexibility pick-up nozzle.
One could use a small stream sluice if it is adapted in the appropriate manner.
That is in such a way as to not wash the gold out of the sluice box.

TO WORK
To work one will need a suction & discharge hose, not furnished.
Also needed will be a sluice set up to receive the discharge hose, not furnished.
A strong lightweight pump with perhaps a 2 stroke engine, not furnished.
A good open ¾” garden hose to go from the water pump to the dredge pump.
The hose must be good & open, and could be furnished at extra cost.
This pump can be used as a sump pump around the house.
Just use a ¾” water hose to power it if you have 60-90 lb pressure on the hose.

This sport will get you some old fashion exercise ; digging, panning, walking, climbing
with some pick & shovel work. It will do wonders for your health, weight control,
physical fitness & hopefully your pocketbook. A packet of information will be
sent with anything ordered from this site if you wish. Avoid toxic areas &
